The design

The charcoal shapes anchor the composition while the terracotta and blush float between them, so the wall reads layered instead of flat. Across the room it is calm abstraction, and nose to wall, the shapes bump shoulders agreeably. Warm lamplight shifts the palette toward vintage suede.
