Perfectly straight lines are for architects. Boardwalk Stripe is a coastal blue stripe wallpaper that lays a relaxed grid of soft indigo over white, coastal in palette but easy in temperament: the pattern equivalent of a beach-house weekend, slightly rumpled, exactly right.

The design

A loose grid of soft indigo lines on white, with organic spacing that keeps the pattern airy and relaxed. The indigo lines float on the white rather than fencing it in, so the grid reads open instead of strict. Distance settles the wobble into calm order, while a closer look gives back every gentle waver. Bright daylight bleaches it breezy, and by evening the blue settles toward ink.

Style notes

Coastal by palette, easygoing by nature. It suits whitewashed or light oak furniture, rope and rattan, weathered nickel and striped linen that has seen a few summers. Bathrooms and sunrooms take the freshness, bedrooms use it as a soft grid to sleep inside, and kids rooms enjoy lines that were never ruler-straight to begin with.
