Mid-century designers loved a shape built for resting your eyes on. Citron Arcade lines up rows of softened capsules in bright chartreuse, the most optimistic color the fifties ever shipped.

The design

Tall rounded capsules in citron stand in an even grid on a pale sunlit ground. The columns line up, the rows breathe, and a soft mottled wash keeps the geometry easy on the eye. One even 24 by 24 inch repeat.

Works best in

Entryways, home offices, powder rooms, and any room short on natural light.

Style notes

Sunny geometry with a fifties accent. Pair it with walnut, black accents, and crisp white trim. Daylight reads fresh and green. Evening lamps push the citron toward gold. It does the work of a window in a windowless room.
