Clover Ogee is a seventies ogee wallpaper in emerald, jade and mint with a forest outline, teardrop waves stacked in columns like a lawn seen through a kaleidoscope. It is the freshest colourway in the Ogee family.
The design
Each ogee opens from a pale mint centre through jade and grass green to a deep forest edge, and the columns interlock so every curve hands off to the next. A faint grain in the ground gives the flat greens the look of vintage paper. Morning light makes the mint sparkle. Evening light deepens the emerald until the wall looks like leaves after rain.
Works best in
Kitchens, kids rooms, libraries and living rooms. Green ogee columns make a kitchen feel like it opens onto a garden.
Style notes
Pale oak, teak or white painted cabinetry, with brushed brass. Cream and butter yellow textiles, a terracotta pot or two. A bentwood chair and a globe pendant complete the decade. Keep the worktop pale and the trim cream.
