The design

Hand-drawn cream doodles over warm beige, tone on tone. Low contrast keeps the all-over pattern quiet, so the movement registers as gentle texture rather than a statement. At a distance the beige ground takes over and the wall settles into one warm tone, the cream lines surfacing slowly as you approach. Lamplight lowers the contrast further, so evenings read calm and mornings send the doodles back out to play.

Style notes
