The look of ink pressed onto paper, marching down the wall in tidy columns. Ink Drops is a modern abstract wallpaper that turns soft black and gray watercolor circles on a light ground into instant gallery rhythm. Modern, calm, and far more interesting than two tones have any right to be.

The design

Vertical rows of inky watercolor circles in soft blacks and grays on a light ground. Painterly edges keep the grid human, and the neutral palette keeps it versatile. The circles darken and lighten unpredictably down each row, which is what keeps the pattern from feeling mechanical. From afar the columns organize the wall like quiet punctuation, and near to, each drop holds its own small weather. The light ground keeps the whole arrangement airy however dark the ink runs.

Style notes

Ink wash minimalism with gallery instincts and none of the fuss. It cooperates with ash, concrete, black metal, and shelving that holds actual books.
