The design

Peacock feathers swirled in cobalt, navy, and teal with golden eye accents, rendered like an abstract oil painting. Rich, luminous, and textural. Cobalt and teal swirl forward while navy pools behind them, and the golden eyes land like punctuation across the wall. At a distance the whole thing reads as abstract water in motion, and the feathers only declare themselves as you close in. Lamplight finds the gold first and keeps finding it all evening.

Style notes

Part Klimt, part aquarium, entirely committed to color. It thrives beside brass, walnut, navy velvet, and mirrors generous enough to pass the shine around. A dressing room turns properly theatrical, and a living room gets a resident masterpiece that never needs reframing. Beige was consulted about all this and respectfully declined.
