The design

A side-profile Great Dane in a dapper hat, repeated on warm beige with vintage illustration detail. Playful subject, gallery composure. At a distance the repeat reads as a steady, well-mannered rhythm, more pattern than portrait. Come closer and the hat introduces itself. The warm beige ground does quiet work, softening the vintage linework so the gentleman never becomes noise.
