The design

Bold tropical flowers in rich purples with inky leaves, flowing across a soft light background. Saturated blooms kept airy by the pale ground. The violets and plums push forward while the inky foliage sinks back, which gives the wall layers instead of a flat jungle. The pale ground works like open sky between the blooms, keeping the whole thing buoyant. By day it reads fresh and botanical, and by lamplight the purples turn richer and the room slides toward cocktail hour.
