The design

The ivory starbursts sit bright against the blue-gray so the grid reads clearly across a room, all order and rhythm. Up close the hand-drawn lines wobble just enough to admit a human was involved. Daylight keeps it crisp and cool, while evening deepens the ground toward true slate and lets the ivory hold its glow.
