Rosewood Petal folds pale petals into every circle, blush against plum on a dusty rose ground. This soft retro geometric wallpaper takes the overlapping circle motif of a cathedral window quilt and dresses it in pink, and it gives a room a warmth that flatters everyone in it.

The design

Circles overlap across the wall, and where they meet, cream petals appear, so each plum disc seems to wear a small blush flower. The rose ground and a linen-look crosshatch soften every edge, and the palette stays close, plum, rose and blush, so the pattern feels tonal rather than loud. From across the room it reads as a gentle pink lattice with dark centers. Up close the woven grain turns the geometry into something closer to cloth. Mid century in structure, romantic in color.

Works best in

Dining rooms, kitchens, libraries, kids rooms, bedrooms and powder rooms. It is pink for grown-ups and children alike.

Style notes

Soft retro. Pair it with plum millwork, walnut, brass and cream boucle. A brass sconce and a bowl of pink peonies will look like part of the design. Warm light deepens the plum and daylight lifts the blush, so it never feels heavy. In a dining room it makes candlelit dinners look like they were photographed for a magazine.

Order with confidence

Rosewood Petal is an original WALLPLICITY pattern with a seamless repeat, so the circles overlap cleanly from panel to panel. Comes in peel and stick or traditional wallpaper. Samples available.
