Sage Zellige is a tile look wallpaper in shifting shades of sage green, small square tiles set in a soft grid with the uneven glaze of Moroccan zellige. It gives a room the calm of a tiled courtyard without a single bag of grout.

The design

No two tiles are quite the same sage, some lighter and milkier, some deeper and greener, and each carries a soft cloudy variation like a glaze pooled in a kiln. Thin pale lines separate them. From across the room the wall reads as a gentle mosaic of green. Up close the tiles have real depth. Daylight cools them toward mint, lamplight warms them toward olive.

Works best in

Dining rooms, kitchens, bedrooms and kids rooms. It suits a room with terracotta, wood and plenty of plants.

Style notes

Natural oak, unlacquered brass and clay pots are its people. Trim in a warm white keeps the tiles fresh, while a deep green trim makes the wall read as one glazed surface. Add a striped runner, a brass pendant and a bowl of lemons. It loves terracotta floors.

Order with confidence

An original WALLPLICITY design, Sage Zellige repeats seamlessly so the tiles line up across the whole wall, printed to order in peel and stick or traditional wallpaper. Samples available.
