The design

Retro tropical leaves and blooms in vintage teal tones, with a relaxed, flowing repeat and mid-century warmth. The darker leaves sink back while the lighter blooms drift forward, so the wall reads as a canopy with actual depth. Step nearer and the blooms carry a soft vintage shading that keeps the party civilized. In the wide view it is all lush movement, and by evening the teal deepens toward lagoon.

Works best in

Living rooms, bedrooms, nurseries, powder rooms, and dens with a blender within reach.

Style notes

The style is midcentury vacation, the kind that came with paper umbrellas and no itinerary. Rattan, cane, teak, and warm terracotta all feel like old friends here, and a little bamboo never hurts. A sunroom becomes a destination, and a bathroom becomes a standing joke told slowly. Pack light: the wall brings most of the atmosphere.
