Named for the happiest of accidents, this one keeps its greens in the family: deep sage flowers tumbling over soft mint, like an herb garden that got carried away. Whoopsie Daisy is fresh without being cold, playful without asking for attention.

The design

Deep sage daisies layered on a pale mint ground, a balanced medium-scale repeat in two greens that reads botanical and calm rather than busy. The two greens sit close in value, so the pattern reads calm even at full bloom. The sage petals come forward while the mint breathes behind them, and daylight keeps the whole wall dewy. Across the kitchen it reads as gentle dapple.

Works best in

Nurseries, bedrooms, powder rooms, entryways, and kitchens that keep basil on the windowsill.

Style notes

The roots are retro kitchen florals, rehabilitated with a fresh eye. Warm scrubbed wood, white ceramics, butter-yellow accents, and a gingham curtain or two feel instantly at home.
