The design

Faux stained glass in luminous ambers and browns, divided by black leading into tall gothic panels with a warm, ecclesiastical glow. The ambers do all the glowing while the black leading frames them the way night frames a lit window. Across the room the wall reads as architecture, and up close it breaks into a mosaic of small radiant panes. Lamplight deepens the honey tones until the surface seems to flicker.
