The design

Scandinavian block-print florals in dark navy over soft black. Tonal, low-contrast, and evenly spaced, so the wall reads as rich texture rather than busy pattern. The navy blooms sit only a half step ahead of the black, so the wall reads as depth rather than pattern from across the room. Up close the shapes sharpen into tidy Scandinavian order. Lamplight draws the blue out of hiding, which becomes a small nightly reveal.
