The design
Repeating peacock fans in dusty rose on a warm beige ground, composed in an airy graphic style. The rose fans hold the foreground while the beige ground does quiet work behind them, keeping the wall warm rather than sweet. From across the room the motif reads as gentle rhythm, and up close each fan resolves into fine radiating lines. Morning light cools the pink toward petal, and lamplight deepens it toward terracotta's polite cousin.
