Stained glass was medieval Europe's argument that light itself could be architecture. Cathedral Blue makes the case at home: a geometric tile pattern in deep navy, cobalt, and inky neutrals that gives flat walls the layered glow of a window at vespers.

The design

A faux stained-glass tile geometry in navy, cobalt, and dark neutrals, with leaded-line structure and jewel-toned depth. Ordered, luminous, and quietly gothic. The cobalt panes catch the eye first while the inky leading holds the grid, so the wall reads as light through structure rather than pattern on a surface. At a distance it settles into a deep tonal blue, and the geometry sharpens as you approach. Evening lamplight is its natural habitat, turning every pane a shade warmer and the room a shade more solemn.

Style notes
