The design

Deep charcoal and gray tartan checks with a faux-flannel softness, scaled for walls. The suiting-inspired palette stays neutral enough to sit beside leather, wood, and black metal. The lighter gray lines sit forward against the charcoal field, giving the check a low glow rather than a hard grid. From across the room it reads as a rich tonal dark, and the tartan logic only announces itself as you close in. Lamplight is where it earns its keep, softening the grays toward smoke until the wall reads less like pattern and more like tailoring.
