Some walls should look like they have a past. Gilded Relic layers weathered damask emblems in antique gold over smoked charcoal, old-world glamour with the polish worn off in all the right places.

The design

Large damask emblems in burnished gold emerge through a mottled charcoal ground, worn back in places as if by decades. Each emblem stands about a foot tall. One even 24 by 24 inch repeat.

Works best in

Dining rooms, powder rooms, entryways, home offices, and living rooms.

Style notes

Aged glamour. Pair it with dark wood, iron, velvet in bronze or ink, and low warm light. It gives a powder room the feel of a hotel bar and a dining room the glow of candlelight before the candles are even lit.
