Ivy earned its academic reputation by climbing everything worth climbing. Ivy League honors the ambition: trailing Morris-style vines and delicate woodland detail winding across the wall in a whimsical forest repeat, classic Arts and Crafts with a slightly mischievous streak.
The design
Trailing ivy and woodland vines in the Morris tradition, with delicate leaf detail and a rhythmic winding repeat. Heritage pattern, playful posture. The vines set a diagonal drift that keeps the repeat from ever feeling gridded, and the leaf detail repays a slow look. In daylight the greens sit fresh against the pale ground, and by evening they deepen toward evergreen. The pale ground keeps even the densest passages easy to live with.

Style notes
Arts and Crafts is the family line, complete with the movement's faith in pattern as furniture. It belongs with oak, worn Persian rugs, brass library lamps, and paint in green or ochre nearby.
