The design

Block print flowers and leaves in classic folk rows over a deep green ground. Traditional Scandinavian structure carried in a rich, moody palette. The lighter blooms hold the front of their rows while the deep green ground pulls everything into evening. At a distance the wall reads as an even, orderly rhythm, and up close the stamped shapes keep their softly imperfect edges. Candlelight was clearly part of the design brief.

Style notes
