The design
A dark navy block-print floral with layered blossoms and structured foliage. Vintage Scandinavian in style, with enough tonal depth to keep large walls interesting. The navy ground sets the hour and the lighter blossoms mark it, surfacing in even rhythm across the wall. From across a room it reads as deep tone with a steady undercurrent of pattern, and up close the layered petals show their stamped, handmade edge. Lamplight is generous to it, pulling warmth out of the darker blues.
Works best in
Bedrooms, dining rooms, entryways, dens, and rooms that do their best work after sunset.
Style notes
Folk floral tradition in evening dress, Scandinavian thrift with a little ceremony. It sides with walnut, chestnut leather, brass candlesticks, and linen in oat or rust.
