Some walls should look like they have a past. Pewter Relic layers weathered damask emblems in charcoal and pewter, tone on tone, like shadows of a pattern the years almost took.

The design

Large damask emblems in soft pewter emerge through a mottled charcoal ground, worn back in places as if by decades. Each emblem stands about a foot tall. One even 24 by 24 inch repeat.

Works best in

Home offices, dining rooms, entryways, powder rooms, and living rooms.

Style notes

Aged monochrome. Pair it with black steel, dark oak, leather, and warm bulbs to keep the grays from going cold. The most architectural of the family. It behaves like texture from across the room and like pattern up close.
