The design

Cherry blossom branches in soft pink over a tonal pink ground, drawn with vintage chinoiserie grace. Airy structure and calm, drifting movement. The blossoms sit only a breath forward of the ground, so the branches read as movement first and flowers second. Across a room the wall softens into a single quiet pink, calm as first light. Up close, the drawing has the patience of old silk painting, and morning light treats it accordingly.

Style notes

The gentlest branch of the chinoiserie tradition, pruned for modern rooms. It leans toward dark cherry or black lacquer furniture, blush linen, pale stone, and champagne metals.
