Look closer and the stripes dissolve into dots. Shibori Stripe strings soft sage marks into loose vertical lines on white, echoing hand-dyed cloth: a pattern with rhythm rather than rigidity, calm without going blank. It reads as texture first and pattern second.
The design
Dotted vertical lines in sage green on white, inspired by hand-dyed shibori textiles. Airy, organic, and gently rhythmic. From across the room the dots merge into soft stripes that lift the ceiling a little, and up close they separate back into individual marks, each a little different from its neighbor. Morning light flattens the sage toward gray, evening light warms it green, and both moods suit it.

Bedrooms, bathrooms, entryways, quiet home offices, and mornings that start slowly on purpose.
Style notes
Japanese craft by way of a Scandinavian sensibility, which is why it gets along with nearly everything. Set it against light ash, unlacquered brass, undyed linen, and ceramics with visible throwing lines. Sage or bone paint nearby keeps the conversation quiet. It does its best work in bedrooms and entryways, anywhere the day should begin and end at the same gentle speed.
