Some walls should look like they have a past. Storm Relic layers weathered damask emblems in slate blue over smoked charcoal, like a pattern rescued from an old estate and given a second life.

The design

Large damask emblems in storm blue emerge through a mottled charcoal ground, worn back in places as if by decades. Each emblem stands about a foot tall. One even 24 by 24 inch repeat.

Works best in

Dining rooms, entryways, home offices, powder rooms, and living rooms.

Style notes

Aged vintage with an industrial streak. Pair it with reclaimed oak, iron, aged brass, and leather. It hides the scuffs of real life better than any flat wall ever will. Candlelight and Edison bulbs bring out its depth.
