Tulip Mania is a Scandinavian folk wallpaper that plants muted red, lavender and charcoal tulips among leaves and circles in bold mid century style: lively and graphic, and sophisticated enough to hold its value this time around.
The design
Stylized tulips, leaves and circles in muted red, lavender and charcoal, bold Scandinavian mid century rhythm with cheerful discipline. The charcoal does the anchoring, the muted red does the talking, and the lavender smooths the negotiation between them. Stand back and the repeat becomes pure rhythm, all bobbing stems and dots. Up close the shapes have the friendly precision of paper collage.
