Walk into a birch stand and the noise drops away; this is that feeling, indoors. Birch Grove raises slender gray trunks and fine branches against soft cream, spaced with Scandinavian restraint. It is less a pattern than a change in air pressure.

The design

Slim gray birch trunks with delicate branching on a pale cream ground, in a vertical, naturalistic repeat that keeps rooms light and quietly wooded. The gray trunks hold the vertical line while the cream opens the space between them, which is where the calm lives. From across the room it reads as light through trees, and up close the fine branching rewards attention. Winter light suits it best, though every other kind will do fine.
