The design

An all-over woodland botanical on a near black ground, with layered fungi, ferns, berries and trailing stems. The amber caps carry the light while the ferns sink back toward the dark, so the wall has real depth. Seen from the hallway it reads as a moody botanical field. At arm's length the detail takes over: gills, spots, seed heads, tiny leaves. Dim light suits it best, which is rare and useful.
