The design

Vintage mushrooms and forest foliage in a warm, layered repeat, with botanical-plate detail and a cozy mid-scale rhythm. The russet caps step forward first, warm against the deeper greenery, so the wall reads inviting rather than dim. The mid-scale spacing lets each cluster breathe, and the plate-style detail repays anyone who stops. By lamplight the edges of the scene turn amber.

Style notes

Folklore filed under natural history, which is exactly where it belongs. Pair it with waxed pine, hammered copper, and rust or burgundy wool for weight.
