The design

Vertical blush-pink scallop-edged stripes on a warm off-white ground. Tailored banding with a rounded, vintage-leaning detail. The blush bands come forward and the off-white ground opens up between them, so the wall keeps its light. At a distance it reads as tidy stripe, and the scalloped edge only reveals itself as you approach, like a hem you notice on the second look. Under a warm bulb the pink settles toward rose, never toward bubblegum.
