A garden at dusk, when the greens go blue and the pale flowers are the last thing still visible. Evening Fernery is a navy botanical wallpaper of bright green ferns, slate blue leaves and blush blooms on a deep navy ground, quieter than a full maximalist floral and easier to sleep under.

The design

Lime green fronds and lacy ferns stand out against broad leaves in dusty blue that fade back into the navy, so the wall has real layers. Pale pink poppies, sprays of white lace flower and dusty rose seed heads scatter through the greenery. From across the room it reads as a soft blue green haze with a few points of light. Up close the painterly leaves and the tiny florets reward a slow look. Softer contrast than a high drama botanical, and calmer for it.

Works best in

Bedrooms, dining rooms, powder rooms, studies, and guest rooms.

Style notes

Moody botanical without the volume. Pair it with pale oak, brushed nickel, sage or dusty rose textiles, and white bedding. Low light turns the whole wall blue green. Morning light finds the pink. A dark wallpaper for people who thought dark wallpaper would feel like too much.

Order with confidence

The repeat in Evening Fernery is engineered to be seamless, so the ferns carry across each panel without a visible line, and the design is ours alone. Order peel and stick or traditional wallpaper to suit the room. Samples available.
