The design

Fox portraits with swirling gold botanicals and Victorian floral etching over deep charcoal and brown. Layered, moody, quietly ornate. Gold linework carries the light while the charcoal ground absorbs it, so the foxes read as candlelit. At a distance the wall is a dark shimmer, and the portraits declare themselves on approach. The brown undertones warm the whole scene from underneath, keeping the dark hospitable.
