Half herbarium, half haunted romance novel. Gothic Flutter is a dark butterfly wallpaper that layers moths, butterflies and full blown florals in charcoal and soft neutrals over a near black ground, giving the whole wall a storybook gravity. It is dark, yes, but the kind of dark you want to sit inside with a candle.

The design

Painterly butterflies and moths among romantic florals, in rich charcoal tones with soft neutrals keeping the drama refined. The charcoal ground pulls everything inward, and the pale wings hover against it like they found the last of the light. Step back and the wall goes velvet dark and calm, step in and the moths hold astonishing detail. Daylight cools it toward slate, and lamplight warms it toward ember.

Style notes
