Grand Arboretum plants an old estate's trees along the wall: full crowns in olive and sage, spaced the way a landscape painter would have wanted them.

The design

Stately park trees in olive, sage, and parchment with soft painted skies between the crowns. Trees repeat about every twelve inches, eight across an 8 foot wall.

Works best in

Dining rooms, home offices, powder rooms, living rooms, and halls.

Style notes

The English-park scenic. Pair it with mahogany, brass, leather, and cream wool. It flatters traditional furniture like nothing else in the shop. A dining room in this has hosted a hundred years of dinners, whether or not it has.
