Hound Manor is a dark vintage dog wallpaper that extends the tradition wall-wide: hounds rendered with dark, luxurious restraint on a moody ground, dignity fully intact.

The design

Refined vintage dog portraiture in a dark luxury palette. Moody ground, classic illustration style, and an arrangement that keeps its composure. The moody ground absorbs the edges, so each hound surfaces with the soft authority of an oil portrait. At a distance the wall holds as a rich dark tone, and the sitters appear as you close in. Low lamplight is their preferred exhibition setting, and they sit for it.

Works best in

Dens, home offices, powder rooms, entryways, dining rooms, and any room the dog already considers hers.

Style notes

Ancestral-portrait tradition, reassigned to the family member who earned it. It settles in beside oxblood leather, dark oak, brass picture lights, and a decent rug the dog has claimed. A den deepens agreeably, and a powder room tells the house's driest joke. This wall needs nothing else hung on it, the committee is complete.
