The design

Leopard portraits in gold-rose top hats, amber and charcoal with gilded accents. Feline poise, baroque detail. The amber fur advances from the charcoal ground, and the gilded trim catches light before anything else does. Across the room the portraits read as warm cameos on a dark field, orderly and composed. Up close, the eye contact does exactly what eye contact does. Lamplight brings the amber up to a purr.
