Barely-there, on purpose. Sage Pinstripe draws slim green lines in calm vertical bands, the kind of understated order that makes a whole room seem freshly pressed. It lifts ceilings quietly and flatters everything placed against it: the supporting actor who steals no scenes and saves several.
The design
Fine sage-green pinstripes in even vertical bands on a light ground. Minimal, airy, and precisely spaced. The stripes hold the eye's vertical line without ever demanding it, and the pale ground quietly spreads the light around. From a few steps back the wall reads as a soft green-tinged white. Up close the lines are fine as pencil work, which is the charm.
Works best in
Bathrooms, nurseries, laundry rooms, dining rooms, and farmhouse kitchens that keep the counters clear.
Style notes
Shirting stripes for architecture, essentially. They pair with white-painted furniture, natural wicker, brushed nickel, and linen in oatmeal or the palest green. Keep trim bright white and ceilings the same, and the room stretches taller on its own. In a nursery it is the calmest possible backdrop, and in a farmhouse kitchen it lends the morning clutter an air of intent.
