The design

Red poppies and detailed wildflowers on deep black, drawn with intricate botanical linework. High drama held together by careful detail. The poppies blaze forward while the fine wildflower lines melt back into the black, giving the wall real depth of field. From across the room only the reds carry, bold as brushwork on lacquer. Low light narrows the scene further, and the flowers seem to bloom out of the dark on cue.
