The design
Retro fish in sunglasses, swimming through a dense repeat in cream and earthy tones. Playful subject, warm vintage palette, straight face. The earthy fish swim shoulder to shoulder across the cream, so the wall reads as a warm, even school from a distance. The sunglasses register only at close range, which is precisely when a joke lands. Warm light pulls the palette toward toast and terracotta, friendly at any hour.

Style notes
Vintage field guide style that wandered into the novelty aisle. It swims along nicely with butcher block, painted cabinets in cream or clay, woven baskets and towels that refuse to take themselves seriously.
