Deep in the blackest woods, the stags have started wearing glasses, and frankly they look distinguished. Shady Buck sets sketched charcoal deer against a near-black ground: lodge on the surface, mischief in the details. Leather, plaid, and dark wood complete the look without breaking the deadpan.
The design
Sketch-style stags in charcoal on a deep black ground, several sporting eyeglasses. Detailed antlers and fine linework give the humor a rustic, drawn-by-firelight finish. From across the room the stags read as classic lodge silhouettes on near-black, perfectly presentable. The eyeglasses arrive only at handshake distance, which is precisely where the pattern wants you. The charcoal-on-black palette keeps the humor low-lit and lets the antlers do the drawing.

Style notes
