Out on this particular range, the longhorn skulls have all acquired sunglasses and none of them are explaining why. Shady Longhorn plays desert Western with a smirk (aviators, retro frames, funky green ground), landing squarely between saloon and skate shop. Leather and denim only encourage it.
The design
Longhorn skulls in assorted sunglasses repeated over a funky green ground. Bold Western linework with a deadpan comic streak, balanced for full walls. The green ground does the heavy lifting, pushing the pale skulls forward so every pair of aviators lands its punchline from across the room. Up close the linework turns out to be proper Western drafting, which is the joke's straight face. Lamplight warms the green toward olive and the whole wall relaxes into saloon hours.
Works best in
Teen bedrooms, game rooms, home bars, man caves, and any wall that takes its Western with a wink.
Style notes
Western Americana filtered through a skate video, and unbothered about it. Give it worn leather, raw denim upholstery, blackened steel, and shelf wood that has seen weather. Olive or clay paint on the trim keeps the ground company, while white trim turns the volume up. In a game room it starts conversations, and in a home bar it wins them.
