Coastal, but tailored about it. Seaside Scallop runs blue and white bands floor to ceiling with a soft scalloped edge, breezy in mood and precise in manner. Walls gain height, rooms gain air, and nobody has to commit to a single anchor motif to get there.
The design
Vertical blue and white stripes with gently scalloped edges, running full height. Crisp coastal palette with a soft, rounded detail. The blue bands advance just enough to set the rhythm, while the white keeps the wall tall and light. The scalloped edges soften every line, so from across the room the stripes seem to ripple rather than rule. It holds its freshness in any light the day supplies.
Works best in
Nurseries, kids' rooms, cottage bathrooms, hallways, and bedrooms within earshot of an imaginary tide.
Style notes
Cabana stripes raised on nursery rhymes. Put them with whitewashed dressers, seagrass baskets, chambray cushions, and a rocking chair with some sea miles on it. Trim in glossy white and nickel hardware keep the blue crisp. A nursery grows up gracefully in it, and a cottage bathroom turns bath time into a day at the shore, minus the sand.
