Every forest has its rogue. The Night Bandit celebrates the raccoon, masked, dapper, and entirely unrepentant, roaming a vintage woodland of brown, charcoal, and cream.

The design

Warm browns and deep charcoal build the forest while cream highlights trace leaves, whiskers, and those unmistakable masked faces. The raccoons move through the repeat like they own the place, which of course they believe they do. At a distance the wall reads as a classic dark woodland toile. Closer up, the personalities emerge. The cream keeps the whole composition legible even in a dim hallway.

Works best in

A den, a study, a bedroom, a cabin-hearted living room, or an entryway that hints the household has a sense of humor about itself.

Style notes

Gothic woodland with storybook manners. Pair it with rustic oak, iron hardware, plaid wool, and anything that smells faintly of a lodge. Forest green and rust make natural companions. Hang a vintage landscape beside it and the bandit fits right into the gallery.
