Blossoms, but with the lights low and the record on. Denim Bloom fades sepia florals in and out of a charcoal ground, closer to vintage art than pattern: moody enough for a lounge, neutral enough to sit behind leather, wood, or steel without an argument.

The design

Sepia-toned florals dissolving into a deep charcoal ground with a washed, denim-like texture. Dark, tonal, and painterly, reading almost as canvas. The sepia blooms surface and sink across the charcoal like images in an old photograph, never quite fixed. Across the room it settles into dark tone with a memory of flowers, and closer viewing pays out in brushwork. The palette flatters warm bulbs, going amber at the edges by night.

Style notes

Vintage romance run through a warm low-fi filter. It sits well with worn leather, iron, walnut, and glass in amber tones, the whole record-lounge kit. A home bar leans into it after dark, and a bedroom drifts into the mood of a slow B-side. Moody, but never once trying too hard.
