The design
A dusty blue limewash with soft grey layering and a refined faux-plaster texture. Subtle movement, coastal calm, no pattern. From a distance it reads as a single calm color, and only up close do the layers separate into drifts of blue over grey. Morning light pulls it cool and coastal, while lamplight settles it toward warm slate.
Works best in
Living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, entryways, and anyone who finds the ocean calming from a safe distance.
Style notes
This is quiet coastal minimalism, closer to weather than to decor. It keeps company well with pale ash, weathered teak, brushed nickel, and bedding in white cotton or heavy natural weave. In a bedroom it eases the day off your shoulders, and in a home office it gives the eye somewhere restful to land between thoughts. The ocean, minus the sand in everything.
