The design

Golden dotted-cap mushrooms with small blooms and foliage scattered over a deep navy ground: a magical woodland motif composed with fine storybook detail. Navy sets the hour at just past midnight, and the golden caps supply the light. From afar the pattern reads as scattered brightness, then resolves into careful detail as you close in. The dimmer the room runs, the more the gold caps appear genuinely lit.
