The design

A mosaic-style checkerboard in varied sage green tones. Small squares with tonal shifts that give the grid movement and a pixelated charm. The deeper sage squares advance and the paler ones step back, which gives the grid a constant, gentle shimmer. From a distance it settles into a calm green field, and the tile-by-tile variation appears as you approach. Cool daylight leans it minty, warm bulbs lean it olive, and both moods work.
