Even a swan can blush. Blush Swan stretches its feathered wings in soft pink, lining the birds up with the discipline of an Art Deco frieze: dreamy enough for a nursery, structured enough for a dressing room. The romance is in the color; the rigor is in the repeat.
The design
Blush-pink swans with outstretched, fanned feathers repeating in a formal Deco arrangement. Soft rosy tones over a light ground, with elegant curved symmetry. The swans sit forward while the pale ground recedes into hush, so the wall reads as a frieze rather than a flock. Step back and the fanned wings become pure geometry, step close and the feathering turns out to be drawn with real patience. Candlelight is its best audience, warming the blush toward champagne.

Style notes
Deco romance played completely straight. Give it velvet in blush or bottle green, black lacquer or dark walnut, and polished brass or chrome depending on how strict the room is feeling. Powder rooms and bars get the theater, bedrooms get the calm symmetry, and dining rooms get a resident corps de ballet. Formal enough to bow, confident enough never to explain the feathers.
